Mi Casa esta hecho de eventos especificos que toman lugar en hogares y negocios, este año todos los eventos se llevaran a cabo en el ultra-Austinity 78704 (downtown Austin), de manera que puedas caminar de una locación a otra. No te pierdas la fiesta que se arma, despueés de las presentaciones.

2010 brings an extraordinarily jam-packed Mi Casa curated by the remarkable DA! Theatre Collective. Mi Casa is made up of site-specific events taking place in homes and businesses; this year, all events are in the ultra-Austiny 78704 zip code, so you can walk between many of the venues. Don't miss the wrap party at the end of the performances.

Tickets: $6 per location, except for the crammed-full Bouldin segment (Locations C and D), which is $9 for the whole shebang. You can also get an all-location day pass for $20, which you can purchase at any of the Mi Casa locations. If you wish to see only one event at a location, the cost is $2. Cash only.

Location A: 1607 Dexter, 11:00am - 12:15pm
Tickets: $6 for all three shows at this location, or $2 per show. Cash only.
The Edge of Imagination Station by Johnny Villarreal, an interactive stop-motion animation experience. Check out a YouTube video or two or three about how this works -- it's amazing.

The Mommy Confessions, by Rhonda Kulhanek, a site-specific adaption of excerpts from this popular one-woman show

Town Hall Town Crier, written & directed by Robin Myrick, the Southwest premiere of this site-specific work

Location B: 1815 Dwyer, 12:30pm - 2pm
Tickets: $6 for all three shows at this location, or $2 per show. Cash only.
Tongue & Groove, a new work created by David Yeakle featuring original music from Justin Sherburn with performances by Kelsey Strauch & Jules McEvoy

She Creatures, a new work from local playwright Sarah Saltwick

Splash Zone from DA! Theatre Collective, written by Kirk German and directed by Jude Hickey

Location C (Part 1): 1805 Bouldin Avenue, 2:30pm - 3:00pm
Tickets: $9 for all shows at this location (Parts 1 and 2), PLUS the Location D show. $3 for all three Part 1 shows; or $1 per individual Part 1 show. Cash only.
Spilled Milk from Poison Apple Initiative, a new work written & directed by Bastion Carboni

Amanda & Jaret, local singer-songwriters in a unique and intimate setting

57 Boyfriends from DA! Theatre Collective, excerpts from Stephanie Denson's one-woman show

Location D: Cafe Caffeine, 900 W Mary St. #A, 3:10pm - 3:40pm

Corley Pillsbury, multi-talented singer-songwriter storyteller on piano
